The workshop “Financial mechanisms” was organized within the ICES project at the Faculty of Engineering in Kragujevac on Wednesday 23rd October 2013. The main objective of the workshop was to present the mechanisms for financing the innovations in enterprises throughout all stages of the innovation process, as well as current calls and available financial mechanisms in Serbia.

The second Steering Committee Meeting of the WBCInno project was held on 4th October 2013 at the University of Montenegro in Podgorica. The representatives of 13 partner institutions as well as Prof. Vera Marković from the University of Nis, an external expert for quality control, were present at the meeting.

The Committee of University of Kragujevac reviewed received call applications, the Faculty of Electronic Engineering in Nis was selected with Prof. Dr. Vera Marković as an external expert for quality control of WBCInno project.

Within activity 2.1 Benchmarking assessment of existing university structures and services in the areas of knowledge transfer, research and innovation, partners from EU (University of Brighton UB, Hamburg University of Technology TUHH, Graz University of Technology TUG, University of Alicante UA and Center for Social Innovation ZSI) visited University of Novi Sad in the period of 29th to 30th August 2013.

In period from 27th – 28th August 2013, the University of Kragujevac was visited within benchmarking assessment activities by EU partners on WBCInno project (UB, TUG, UA, TUHH and ZSI) and on that occasion they were introduced with the activities of the centers and offices at the University of Kragujevac.

U okviru realizacije Tempus projekata “Modernization of WBC universities through strengthening of structures and services for knowledge transfer, research and innovation”.

Representatives of three WBC universities (UKG, UNS and UM) visited University of Brighton (UB) in Brighton, United Kingdom, in the period from 14th until 17th August 2013. Representative of UBL visited UB in the first term of initially planned visit in period from 14th until 17th May of 2013

As the part of the dissemination of project activities and results, the WBCInno project was presented at the Conference on Higher Education Cooperation in Central, Eastern & South-Eastern Europe, held in July 2013 in Austria.

At the conference, the members of PST team used this opportunity to disseminate the information and results of WBCInno project in the area of University-Industry cooperation by presenting the achievements through the paper „New regional model of university-enterprise cooperation“.
