  • AcademLink’s article on the Conference “Capitalization of knowledge – profit through research”
    AcademLink published several articles related to the activities where partners from WBCInno project took an active part. In the section Events from AcademLink, the Conference “Capitalization of knowledge – profit through research” was presented. Two partners from the WBCInno project participated in the Conference: the WBCInno Coordinator, Prof. Vesna Mandic and representative of Center for Social Innovation from Vienna, Ms. Ines Marinkovic.

  • The Education and Job Fair ’Learn. Network. Explore.’ in Zenica
    On Friday, 21th November 2014, the Office of the European Union Special Representative and the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina organized the Education and Job Fair ’Learn, Network, Explore’ in Zenica City Arena.

  • Presenting WBCInno project and its recent results on XII International Conference ,,KODIP 2014’’
    Within the XII International Conference ,,KODIP 2014’’ held in Budva, Montenegro from 18th to 21st June in 2014, the audience was introduced with WBCInno project and its recent results, primarily publications. The conference participants were very interested for the project, which was supported by the fact that the all printed publications, catalogs and promotional materials were distributed.

  • Presentation of WBCInno project at AREA conference
    The Faculty of Agriculture University of Belgrade organized the Conference EU PROJECT COLLABORATIONS – CHALLENGE FOR RESEARCH IMPROVEMENT IN AGRICULTURE, from 2nd to 4th June 2014. The main topic of the Conference was to promote the importance of research in the fields of agriculture and food science, as well as enhance collaboration with international research community.

  • Presenting the WBCInno project on International fair of technique and technical achievements in Belgrade
    WBCInno project was presented at the International Fair of Technique and Technical Achievements in Belgrade, held from 12 to 15 May in 2014. Years. They presented the results of the project and the publications that have been done so far.

  • WBCInno infoday will be organized at the University of Kragujevac
    Within the WBCInno project, the University of Kragujevac will organize the Infoday on 25th April 2014. The topic of Infoday “From knowledge and research results to successful innovative endeavors” is specially targeted to university professors, researchers and PhD students.

  • WBCInno project promotion at Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Zenica
    On Thursday and Friday, 3rd and 4th April 2014, the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Zenica organized the Fifth international scientific and expert conference „Cultural identity in the digital era“. The Conference was held in Dubrovnik Hotel in Zenica.
  • WBCInno project was presented at Erasmus+ Information Day in Oslo, Norway
    For the local Erasmus+ Information Day, the Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in Education invited Regina Grussenmeyer from Hamburg University of Technology as a speaker. She presented the Tempus project WBCInno as good practice example of capacity building projects.

  • Article about WBCInno project and the University of Kragujevac on E-kapija
    The WBCInno project Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Vesna Mandic participated in the Conference “Capitalization of knowledge – profit through research”, held in April 2014, in Belgrade, Serbia. The idea of the conference organizer, AcademLink, was to provide solution for three basic problems that science in the Region is facing with: how to provide financial resources for research, how to publish papers in eminent international journals and how to apply research results in practice.The leading business portal in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, e-kapija, has published an article on the Conference. Within this article, e-kapija has presented the University of Kragujevac and its centers (Collaborative Training Centre and Center for Virtual Manufacturing) as a success story, emphasizing the significance of these units for improving the competitiveness of local enterprises. As one of the initiatives made by those two centers under the University umbrella, the article presents the WBCInno project and its efforts in the process of modernization at Western Balkans Universities.

  • Promotion of WBCInno activities on the website of the University od Zenica
    The activities of WBCInno project were promoted on the official website of the University of Zenica. Among others, readers can find more information about the first promotion of the electronic version of the Catalogue on research and innovation potential of the University of Zenica, announcing its publication in the next days. At the first day of this event, WBCInno project was presented as the great initiative made by 16 partners from Western Balkans and EU in order to modernize Western Balkan Universities and create strong entrepreneurial universities and innovation regions. The University of Zenica has also dedicated a great attention to other WBCInno activities on their website, such as Capacity building training activities for university staff as well as the TEMPUS monitoring visit of the EC TEMPUS Office from Brussels to the University of Zenica.

  • WBCInno project presented in WBC-INCO.NET newsletter
    As one of the projects presented at the Final Conference of WBC-INCO.net project held in March in Vienna, WBCInno project was recognized as an important initiative in the area of knowledge and technology transfer. In the latest edition of the WBC-INCO.net newsletter, in the section “In the spotlight”, they included an article about the WBCInno project. The article gives the short insight into the project accompanied by the list of strategic publications developed to date, followed by the links to their electronic editions. 

  • WBCInno project presented at the conference “Towards 2020: New Horizons for RTD and Innovation in the Western Balkan Region”
    On 27
    th and 28th March 2014 in Vienna, the Final Conference and Brokerage Event “Towards 2020: New Horizons for RTD and Innovation in the Western Balkan Region” (http://towards2020.wbc-inco.net/) were organized by the Center for Social Innovation within the WBC-INCO.NET FP7 project. More than 200 researchers and representatives of European Commission and ministries of education and science from countries in the region participated in the Conference. On this occasion, the achievements of WBCInno project were presented, especially the strategic documents developed within the Consortium (http://www.wbc-inno.kg.ac.rs/article/publications/).  

  • Article in newspaper Politika
    The Serbian newspaper Politika published an article on the successful cooperation of Collaborative Training Centre (CTC) and Centre for Virtual Manufacturing (CeVIP) with the Serbian enterprises.
  • Future of Industrial business sector
    Local weekly newspaper Kragujevacke published an article on the Centre for Virtual Manufacturing (CeVIP). The article Future of Industrial Business Sector presented this success story from the very beginning, when the Centre was established at the Faculty of Engineering in Kragujevac.
  • WBCInno project presented in the Tempus Bulletin No. 7
    In seventh edition of the Tempus Bulletin, the Tempus Office in Serbia devoted one section to the presentations of Tempus projects from the Fifth Call (2012). Among them, project Modernization of WBC universities through strengthening of structures and services for knowledge transfer, research and innovation – WBCInno was presented. 
  • WBC Inno project promotion in Vienna 
    As the part of the dissemination of project activities and results, the WBCInno project was presented at the Conference on Higher Education Cooperation in Central, Eastern & South-Eastern Europe, held in July 2013 in Austria.
  • Promotion of WBCInno project within TEMPUS project KNOWTS 
    At the conference, the members of PST team used this opportunity to disseminate the information and results of WBCInno project in the area of University-Industry cooperation by presenting the achievements through the paper „New regional model of university-enterprise cooperation“.
  • Promotion of WBCInno project in Intellectual Property Office in Belgrad

    Within ICES project “Improvement of the competitiveness of enterprises in Serbia through new technologies transfer and support of innovations”, the workshop on the topic “searching the patent data base as source of ideas on the way to innovations” was organized in the Intellectual Property Office in Belgrade.  

  • WBC Inno project promotion on TV Kragujevac
    The director of Business Innovation Center from Kragujevac, Mr. Vojislav Veljković presented the goals and activities of the WBCInno project on TV Kragujevac.
  • The WBC - Inno project has officially started
    The TEMPUS project Modernization of WBC universities through strengthening of structures and services for knowledge transfer, research and innovation (WBC-Inno), Contract no 530213-TEMPUS-1-2012-RS-JPHES began officially with its implementation on October 15th 2012.
